Big hugs to all the year 5's, we are missing you all so much.
Whilst we are all staying at home keeping safe we will be setting you tasks under the 6 areas of learning.
We will send you these by email and they will also be saved on the school website. You can complete these tasks and save them to your hwb accounts or if you haven't got access to a laptop or computer they can be completed in your homework book. It would be a lovely idea to take a photo of your work and email it to us.
You will also need to continue using Reading eggspress, Times table rockstars and Active learn.
Every week the whole school will be given a challenge to complete by a different teacher.
We look forward to seeing a photo of your completed challenges on our school Twitter page.
Stay safe and keep busy.

Autumn term topic
Our topic this term is Extreme Earth. We introduced this topic with a fabulous day packed full of exciting activities. The children discussed natural disasters. We made erupting Volcanoes, a typhoon in a bottle, pupils designed posters to help reduce our carbon footprint. The pupils also created some beautiful volcano art work. After taking part in the activities, the pupils discussed ideas and activities that they would like to carry out during the term. We were very impressed with these ideas and are excited to see them come to life in the classroom.
Our topic this term is 'Up Up and Away'. We will be looking closely at flight and space.
