Our Maths Magicians have been elected by their classmates to lead and inspire a love of maths and numeracy across the school. These pupils have shown a genuine passion for problem-solving, data analysis, and exploring mathematical concepts within their classes. The Maths Magicians meet regularly to share ideas for promoting numeracy, support their peers, and encourage everyone to challenge themselves and think creatively.

Responsibilities of our Maths Magicians include:

• Acting as maths ambassadors and modelling a positive attitude towards learning.
• Gathering classmates’ views about maths lessons and what helps them succeed.
• Sharing strategies for solving calculations and tackling problems.
• Trialling new maths games or activities and providing feedback.
• Promoting maths in real-life situations, such as measuring, shopping, or analysing data.
