Safeguarding
At Townhill Community School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Our motto, “Putting Children First,” reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and protected.
We take our duty of care extremely seriously and believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff are trained to recognise and respond to concerns swiftly and appropriately, ensuring that children’s safety and wellbeing are always our top priority.
Our dedicated Safeguarding Team, led by our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Miss. Anna Ruscitto, works closely with pupils, families, and external agencies to promote a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. We are committed to maintaining a culture of vigilance and care, where the welfare of our children always comes first!
If you have any concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please contact Miss. Ruscitto or a member of our Safeguarding Team immediately.
Please note that our Chair of Governors, Mrs. Janet Chaplin, is also the Safeguarding Governor. If you have any concerns regarding safeguarding or child protection, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Chaplin directly.
