The Phoenix Centre – The Phoenix Centre, also known as The Hill Community Development Trust (HCDT) was established 25 years ago to manage the Phoenix Centre in Townhill as a community hub at the centre of the Townhill ward consisting of three distinct communities – Townhill, Mayhill and Gors Avenue. The purpose of HCDT is to relieve the effects of poverty and promote regeneration in the area. This is done through the provision of facilities and services at the core of the community. The Phoenix Centre provides a hub which offers low-cost, accessible childcare to local families, high quality food at our café and sports training facilities on our All-Weather Pitch.
