Autumn term is always a busy one for us, as we welcome Nursery children back to school and also we settle in lots of new starters to our class. Mrs Gadd has worked so hard on developing our classroom into a magical area for children to explore, learn, develop and most of all.... PLAY!
Here at Townhill Community School we are proud practitioners of the Foundation Phase and believe whole heartedly that children learn through play and exploration, independent learning and adult directed tasks and play, through challenge and through meaningful experiences!
Our Nursery classroom demonstrates our strong commitment to our values, with carefully planned areas of provision- including sand and water, mark-making, creative, mathematics, role-play, building, small world, fine-motor skill and investigation area to name just a few! We are also so proud of our outdoor space which we use daily rain or shine!
We pride ourselves on how we nurture children in our Nursery, we want our children to be HAPPY! Happy and content children want to learn, and we are devoted to the children in our care!
